AARC Welcomes AVAFest
Directed and edited by Stewart Chhabra as Exhibit Specialist for City of Austin's Asian American Resource Center (AARC).
AARC participates in the biannual Austin Veterans Arts Festival (AVAFest). Chhabra worked with AARC's Education, Facility, and Admin Team to produce this video as an introduction to invite AVAFest visitors to come to the Center and participate in activities.
The Story of the Austin Amabie
Stewart Collaborated with Austin local artist Kengo Hioki aka Pee-Lander Yellow to create a video that features his art and music. It was part of a City-wide program called ArtsResponders in which local artists trained in “Social Practice” with Museums and Cultural Programs staff to created public works that respond to the COVID19 pandemic.

AARC Virtual Summer Camp - Ellison Onizuka
Stewart wrote, directed, edited and acted in this video. She teaches about the life of astronaut Ellison Onizuka, and guides the viewers in crafting a rocket ship puppet out of cardboard toilet paper tube.
AARC Artist Talks: Loc Huynh & Zoe Watts
As Exhibit Specialist at Asian American Resource Center, Stewart hosted many art openings including a series of Zoom based artist talks. She recorded the programs and edited them for YouTube.
FotoAPA: Four Texas Photographers in Conversation
Stewart brought together four Austin-based APA (Asian Pacific American) photographers for a live, Zoom-based discussion panel. The group discusses questions about identity, craft and their place in the art world.
Stewart edited the recording to create a video that documents the the program.
AARC Summer Camp 2020 - Endangered Species of Hawaii
Stewart Chhabra collaborated with AARC Youth Programs Staff on this video as part of a virtual summer camp. She wrote, directed, and edited the segments that she appears in.
