Final Fantasy Tarot Deck
Final Fantasy Tarot is an ongoing illustration passion project. Stewart features characters from Final Fantasy, the popular gaming franchise by Japanese company Square-Enix, in compositions derived from the mystical, classic Tarot card game. The artist creates these images using a combinations of physical drawing and digital painting. They do not seek to merely recreate the style of the original Square-Enix art. This series expands on it by combining the gaming company’s concepts with the feeling of handmade drawings that allude to traditional tarot decks like Ryder-Waite.
